Trans-Canada Capital (TCC), is a firm offering investment strategies to its clients for almost 15 years now. TCC can be proud to have Air Canada among its customers; managing the assets of its pension funds with undeniable success. TCC can be proud to have Air Canada among its customers; managing the assets of its pension funds with undeniable success. At the dawn of 2022, TCC sees the need to expand its existing offices, located on the 20th floor of the Bell Tower, on Avenue McGill Collège in downtown Montreal. Artesa was pleased to be entrusted with the design of this expansion, occurring through the acquisition of two adjacent vacant suites. As a result, TCC is now the only occupant of their floor – its expanded and renovated offices now spread over nearly 18,000 sq.ft. Although this project could have been limited to the extension of existing concepts and furniture, TCC wanted several changes to rationalize/enhance its existing spaces:
- Open stations arranged along the glazed exterior walls, while closed offices, meeting rooms and other more utilitarian partitioned spaces, arranged in the center;
- New fun collaborative work areas set up between open workstation areas, made up of modular furniture and arched by functional/decorative bay windows;
- New individual booths for employee communications in open positions;
- New collaborative benches – sophisticated and tailor-made concept for meeting there as in a fun zone;
- Existing reception area reconfigured and improved: new modular waiting furniture, signs and wall imagery – corporate graphics exclusive to TCC and designed by Artesa.
Artesa had the privilege, with the appreciated collaborations of Air Canada and engineering firms, to participate in the design of this project; offering TCC coherent and dynamic layouts, a sober and sophisticated atmosphere, and a renewed and distinctive brand image.
The Caisse Desjardins des Grands Boulevards project obtained 6 certifications including Gold Certification in the category Bureau / Bureau ≤ 5 400 pi2 (≤ 500 m2).
